Katie, a dedicated Queensland police officer, and Kehan, a train engineer, faced significant obstacles in planning their wedding during the global lockdown. With travel restrictions and safety measures in place, the couple had to navigate the many complexities of hosting a wedding during such uncertain times. Their determination and careful planning allowed them to create a beautiful and memorable day, even incorporating a life-size cardboard cut-out of Kehan’s sister, who was unable to attend due to lockdowns in Victoria. This heartfelt gesture was a testament to their love and commitment, ensuring that all their loved ones were present in spirit.

The weather on Katie & Kehan’s wedding day was absolutely perfect, providing the ideal conditions for capturing stunning photographs. With clear skies and beautiful light, we had ample opportunities to get creative with their photos. Katie & Kehan worked closely with me to plan out the timeline and logistics of the day, allowing us to maximise the variety of photo locations available at Maleny Manor. Their collaboration and trust enabled us to capture every single special moment, from the intimate ceremony to the joyful celebrations with their closest friends and family.
Despite the restrictions imposed by the pandemic, Katie & Kehan’s wedding day was filled with warmth and love.
