Terayn & Brenton’s wedding at Coolabah Downs Estate in the Gold Coast Hinterland was one of those magical days where everything came together perfectly. From the stunning venue to the couple’s vibrant personalities and the meticulous planning, it was a day to remember.
A Perfect Day at Coolabah Downs Estate
Coolabah Downs Estate is a picturesque wedding venue in the Gold Coast Hinterland, known for its lush gardens, charming chapel, and serene atmosphere. With perfect weather on the day, we had plenty of time to capture all the creative photos Terayn & Brenton wanted. They worked closely with me to plan out the timeline of their day, ensuring that we had ample time for both posed and candid shots. This careful planning allowed us to make the most of the beautiful grounds and stunning scenery.
Terayn & Brenton are a vibrant couple with a great sense of humour and a habit of pulling funny faces. Terayn embodied the violet theme of the wedding, sporting violet hair that perfectly complemented the decor. Their love and playful energy were palpable, making my job as their wedding photographer a true joy.
A Moody and Magical Ceremony
The ceremony was held in the Coolabah Downs Chapel, a venue that provided a moody and intimate feel. The chapel’s rustic charm and serene ambiance created the perfect setting for Terayn & Brenton to exchange their vows. The love between them was evident in every glance and smile, making for some truly beautiful and heartfelt photos.
Fun and Frolic on the Estate Grounds
After the ceremony, we moved to the estate grounds for the photo session. The bridal party was up for anything, and their fun and crazy antics made for some fantastic and lively shots. The venue even supplied cocktails to the bridal party during the photo session, ensuring everyone was happy, relaxed, and ready for fun.
As the sun set, the purple jacaranda trees on the estate perfectly complemented Terayn’s violet hair and the wedding’s colour theme. This created a beautiful and harmonious backdrop for some stunning images of the couple. The combination of the natural beauty of the jacaranda trees and the vibrant personalities of Terayn & Brenton resulted in photos that are both breathtaking and full of life.
A Disney-Themed Reception
Terayn, a Disney fan, incorporated her love for Disney into the reception decor. The reception was Disney-themed, with centrepieces inspired by famous Disney movies. This added a whimsical and magical touch to the evening.
In addition to the Disney theme, the couple was surprised by a flash mob of dancers disguised as wait staff. This unexpected and delightful surprise added an extra layer of excitement to the reception. The dancers later joined us for a group photo under the fairy light tree, creating a memorable and enchanting image.
A Stunning Wedding Album
