The Perfect Setting for a Dream Wedding
The weather on Megan & Keane’s wedding day was simply perfect, with clear skies and vibrant, green gardens providing the ideal stage for a wonderful celebration. The Gardens Club, located in the QUT precinct, offers a unique blend of natural beauty and urban charm, making it an incredible venue for Brisbane wedding photography. The couple chose this location for its serene atmosphere and picturesque surroundings, and it did not disappoint.
A Day Filled with Joy and Laughter
From the moment Megan & Keane arrived, it was clear that this day was going to be special. They were joined by a small handful of guests and a few select friends who made up their bridal party. The intimate nature of the celebration allowed the couple to truly enjoy each moment with their loved ones, creating an atmosphere of warmth and joy that was palpable throughout the day.
As a wedding photographer, one of my favourite parts of the job is capturing candid moments of happiness and connection. Megan’s dress and the vibrant colours of the bridal party provided a stunning contrast against the dark greens of the garden, creating beautiful, eye-catching images. The bridal party brought along bottles of champagne to shake and spray during our photo session, adding an element of fun and spontaneity to the shoot.
Stunning Locations and Backdrops
The Gardens Club and the surrounding Brisbane Botanic Gardens offered no shortage of stunning locations and scenes for our photo session. We took full advantage of the diverse settings, from the charming buildings at QUT to the lush, green gardens. Megan & Keane’s love for each other shone through in every photo, making my job as their wedding photographer a true delight.
One of the highlights of the day was capturing the couple against the colourful walls and the iconic Brisbane City skyline. As the day turned to evening, we were treated to an incredible sunset, which we used to our advantage by capturing reflections of the sky in the QUT buildings. These sunset shots were nothing short of breathtaking and added a magical touch to their wedding album.
