Jess & Paul’s Elegant Celebration at Tiffanys Weddings: A Day Full of Heart, Laughter and Champagne Showers

As a wedding photographer, I’ve had the privilege of capturing weddings in some of the most beautiful spots across the Sunshine Coast – and Tiffanys Weddings in Maleny is undoubtedly one of the standouts. Set high in the hinterland with sweeping views and a timeless chapel, it’s the perfect venue for couples who want a romantic and refined celebration.

Jess & Paul, a lovely professional couple from Brisbane, brought all that and more. Their wedding day had it all – beautiful weather, heartfelt moments, plenty of laughs, and a little bit of rain that we turned into one of their favourite memories.

Groomsmaids, Banter and a Mustang Arrival

The day kicked off with Paul and his crew – a fun mix of groomsmen and two amazing groomsmaids who were instrumental in keeping the boys on track. From tying ties to making sure everyone was photo-ready (and not doing anything too silly), the girls made sure everything ran smoothly. The vibe was full of energy, cheeky jokes, and good-hearted banter – exactly how a wedding morning should be.

Bridal Calm Before the Storm (of Fun)

Heading over to Jess and the girls was a noticeable shift in energy – a bit more calm, but no less joyful. Hair was being finalised, dresses were hanging, and Jess was glowing with excitement. I photographed the details – the dress, accessories, shoes – before capturing some elegant portraits of Jess looking absolutely radiant. Once the nerves eased, the energy shifted to fun and laughter with the bridesmaids, which always makes for some of the most natural and beautiful moments.

Chapel Arrival with Style

Paul made his entrance like a movie star – pulling up in a sleek black Mustang – while Jess arrived in more timeless fashion in a classic Bentley. Their ceremony at Tiffanys Weddings was everything a great ceremony should be: warm, intimate, and filled with personal touches. The bride’s parents played a significant role in the proceedings, adding depth and meaning to the day, and one of the most memorable moments was their dog running down the aisle to join them mid-ceremony. Pure magic.

After the ceremony, we captured a big group shot – dog included, of course – followed by relaxed and happy family portraits in the gardens.

Hinterland Sunsets, Rain Showers and Champagne Soaked Night Photos

With the ceremony wrapped up, we moved on to bridal party photos around the venue before heading to Jess & Paul’s private Airbnb for their couples shoot. The skies had been perfect all day, but as luck would have it, the rain began just as we left. Rather than letting it dampen the mood, Paul had an idea – get the bridal party into the Airbnb’s bathtub (fully clothed, of course!) for some hilarious and memorable photos.

Not to be outdone, we created one of Jess & Paul’s favourite photos of the day – a stunning image of the couple under an umbrella in the rain, with every drop lit up by flash. It’s moody, romantic, and a reminder that sometimes, the best photos happen when things don’t go exactly to plan.

A Party to Remember

Their reception was jam-packed with energy, laughter, and heartfelt moments. From the first dance to emotional speeches and a dance floor that stayed full all night, the vibe was a perfect reflection of Jess & Paul’s fun and genuine personalities.

To cap off the night, we returned to the Tiffanys chapel for a round of epic champagne spray night shots – an energetic and celebratory final chapter to their story.
