As a Noosa wedding photographer, few things bring me more joy than capturing a day that’s bursting with colour, energy, and love. That’s exactly what Bec and Dane’s wedding delivered – and then some. This gorgeous Sunshine Coast couple tied the knot at the stunning Sunshine Beach Surf Club before heading to Noosa for their bridal party and couples’ portraits. It was a day filled with laughter, romance, and that iconic coastal beauty Noosa is known for.

Fun from the Start: Groom Prep with Banter and Laughs

We kicked things off with Dane and his two groomsmen, and the tone was set early -casual, upbeat, and full of cheeky banter. There’s something about a groom prep session with close mates that always feels authentic and unfiltered, and this one was no different. It gave us the perfect start to the day’s coverage.

A Burst of Colour and Personality with the Bride

When I arrived to photograph Bec and her bridesmaids, I was immediately taken by her vibrant wedding flowers and colour palette. Bright reds, yellows, and pinks – perfectly matching the group’s fun-loving, bubbly personalities. Bec’s energy was infectious, and her bridal crew kept the vibes high all morning. Having already shot two weddings within this friend group, there was a great sense of familiarity and fun that made the entire day flow effortlessly.

A Sunshine Beach Ceremony Full of Life

The ceremony took place at the Sunshine Beach Surf Club, overlooking the ocean with blue skies and gentle sea breezes. The setting was spectacular, but the energy was even better. Their celebrant had the entire crowd engaged and laughing, and the couple followed my advice to go big with the confetti – and wow, did it pay off! That aisle moment was one of the most vibrant and joyful I’ve captured this year.

Golden Hour in Noosa: Rockwalls, Romance and Sunset Light

After the ceremony, we made our way to Noosa’s iconic rock wall and Noosa Woods for portraits. These locations are some of my all-time favourites as a Noosa wedding photographer – offering everything from dramatic textures to soft, golden light. The weather was on our side, treating us to clear skies and an absolutely epic sunset. The vibe? Equal parts romantic and hilarious – just how every wedding shoot should be.

A Party to Remember

Back at the surf club, the celebrations continued well into the night. With a tight-knit group of family and friends, the atmosphere was relaxed and fun, filled with dancing, heartfelt speeches, and so many moments of connection. The warmth of the day was matched by the warmth in the room – you could really feel the love in the air.
